Is the free tier really free? Are there hidden costs?
Yes, completely free. No credit card required to apply. No trial period that expires. The free tier is a permanent offering for individuals and small teams getting started with KORU.
What happens when I reach 25 customers on the free tier?
KORU will notify you when you approach the limit. You can continue using all existing customer data — you simply cannot add new customers until you upgrade to the paid tier, which offers unlimited customers.
Is my data safe? Who can see it?
Your data is private to your account. We do not share, sell, or use your customer data for any purpose. All data is stored securely with industry-standard encryption. For organisations with specific data sovereignty requirements, our BYOC model allows you to host KORU on your own infrastructure.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Your data is yours. CSV export is available on all report tabs — customers, pipeline, activity, and complaints. We will never hold your data hostage.
What is BYOC?
Bring Your Own Cloud. For organisations — particularly in regulated industries like banking and financial services — who need their data hosted on their own infrastructure. KORU CRM is a product of XIX Solutions. We are a software company building relationship management tools for businesses. Our registered address and company details are available on request at hello@korucrm.com.

We collect the following categories of data when you use KORU:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and password when you register for KORU.
  • CRM data — customer records, interactions, tasks, opportunities, and complaints that you create within the platform. This data belongs to you.
  • Usage data — information about how you use the platform, including pages visited and features used, to help us improve the product.
  • Application data — information submitted through the beta access application form, including business name, industry, and intended use.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the KORU platform
  • Process your access application and manage your account
  • Send you product updates, onboarding guidance, and relevant communications
  • Improve the platform based on usage patterns and feedback

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or your CRM data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on infrastructure with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is handled by Clerk, a secure identity management platform. We implement role-based access controls so that your data is only accessible to authorised users within your account or organisation.

5. Your Data Rights

You have the following rights over your data:

  • Access — you can request a copy of all data we hold about you.
  • Correction — you can update or correct your personal information at any time from within the platform.
  • Export — your CRM data can be exported via the Reports section of the platform.
  • Deletion — you can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at hello@korucrm.com.

6. Third-Party Services

KORU uses the following third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Supabase — database and storage infrastructure
  • Clerk — user authentication and identity management
  • Vercel — frontend hosting and deployment
  • Railway — backend API hosting

Each of these services operates under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We select partners who meet high standards for data security and privacy.

KORU uses essential cookies only — to maintain your authenticated session and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
